If the answer to the question is yes, you need to start planning a beach-friendly beauty routine that is easy to create and that will outlast the humid air. Here are some smart and beach-friendly beauty tips that you can really use.

1- Start With Smart Skin Care

Skincare is everything. Cleanse, moisturize, and treat your skin every single day — no matter how busy your routine becomes in the last few weeks before the big day. If you want to get microdermabrasion or a chemical peel, try to schedule it at least 4 weeks in advance.

2- Prep And Finish Your Makeup

High humidity and warm weather will sometimes cause your makeup to melt right off your skin. After you’ve taken care of your daily skincare routine, you should use a makeup primer to prep your skin and finish your makeup with a setting spray to keep the makeup from running.

3- Keep The Makeup Glamorous Yet Simple

There are really no rules about how your makeup is supposed to look, but it is generally a smart choice to keep your makeup look glamorous and simple. Instead of pairing smoky eyes with bright red lips, why not choose one and play down the rest? Most beach weddings are a little more casual, so it’s a great idea to keep in mind that less is more.

4- When It Comes To Hairstyles, Think Beach-y Waves

There is nothing more romantic (or more appropriate) for a beach weddings than long and loose waves. Start the look with fresh clean hair, then take a curling iron and create loose spirals. Finish off the look with a little bit of hair spray. From there you can pin them up into a loose chignon or updo or you can leave your hair down and pin a tropical flower to your hair.

If you’re planning a wedding on the beach, you sometimes have to take a different route when it comes to the finer details. What works for a traditional wedding held at a church or other indoor venue sometimes doesn’t work for a beach wedding. One of the most important things to consider is the wedding dress and the entire look. Here are some guidelines to help you find the right wedding gown and accessories for a beach wedding.

1- Think Simple

Since most beach weddings are outdoors, you’re going to have to choose a dress that’s beautiful but could brave the elements. Try a dress with a slender silhouette or slightly shorter skirt. Steer clear from ballgown styles or dresses with a lot of layers. Opt for a dress with a simple elegant shape and minimal frills.

2- Skip The Heels

Unless you’re walking in an ocean front lobby, you might want to opt for a pair of comfy sandals in white or cream. And while you may be a little tempted to slip on a pair of flip-flops, don’t! A beach wedding is still an elegant event that deserves something much more elegant.

3- Go Easy On Accessories

A simpler wedding dress does not give you permission to over-embellish, so remember to accessorize lightly. Choose up to 2 pieces of jewelry and your veil. If you choose one large piece of jewelry, keep the second piece more low-key, or you can opt to keep both pieces low-key. You could also skip the veil or headpiece altogether and put a real flower in your hair! When it comes to bridal accessories, the possibilities are endless.

If you’ve envisioned walking on the sand instead of an aisle, then you know a beach wedding is for you. Whether the nuptial event is held at a local beach or on a faraway island destination, a beach wedding will take a little more planning than most. Like most weddings, you’ll need to plan the location and arrangements, but a beach wedding also may include passports, legal documentation in foreign countries, and even insurance in case of a hurricane. If you’re thinking or planning on having your wedding on the beach, here are some top tips to consider.

1- If you are affiliated with a church, you might want to check to find out if your minister or rabbi is willing to officiate at the ceremony. Some religions, like Catholicism, won’t marry a couple outside the church. If your minister or rabbi cannot make it to officiate the wedding or perhaps you‘re not so religious, there are other choices, including a notary of public or a justice of the peace. If you’re having a beach wedding in another country, make sure you research their rules about officiants as well as the legal regulations.

2- The best thing about most beach weddings is that they’re often the most simple. With a beautiful ocean backdrop scenery, it’s easy to see why the beach is the ultimate destination! That said, most beaches are public property so you’ll need to find out about the laws and permit fees. If you are getting married in Mexico or the Caribbean, it probably would be a wise decision to choose a resort that offers wedding packages. Getting married in another country can be a difficult task, and enlisting the help of a resort and local wedding planner will save you time and money.

3- If you already live in California, Florida, or Texas, you might want to take advantage of the beautiful local beaches. There are companies and agencies who can help couples plan beautiful weddings on the beach, but you still will want to do some research to find out if they are a reputable agency so you don’t get scammed.

Blue waters, sandy shores, warm climate….these are just a few reasons why most engaged couples opt to plan a beach or island getaway for their honeymoon. While there is nothing wrong with spending an extended weekend on a exotic Caribbean Island, you can save money and time by vacationing closer to home. From coast to coast, America was blessed with some beautiful coastal cities and towns that are definitely worth looking into, read below for three ideas.
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
A true resort town, Myrtle Beach offers plenty of fun in the form of beaches and amusements! Imagine spending a morning on a mini-golf course, working on your suntan in the afternoon, and then catching a live show after dinner. Make it extra special and rent a luxury condo for a week (many condos start at $100 a week during off season).

Miami, Florida
Glitz and glamour on the beach, Miami has it all from high end boutiques, celebrity hot spots, cultural museums, fabulous restaurants, and, of course, beaches! Take your pick from the various suburbs and neighborhoods in and around the vicinity. If you want nightlife, stay in South Beach (SoBe), and if you’re craving a lower-key experience, then head to Coconut Grove. No matter where you stay, though, make sure you spend at least half of your vacation beachside or at the very least spend one night in a swank South Beach resort for the ultimate Miami experience.
Newport, Rhode Island

Most people don’t think of the beach when they think of Rhode Island, but Newport is a treasure. Instead of crowded beaches and high rise hotels, Newport offers a quiet and low-key experience that honeymooners will appreciate. From walking on the beach, take a sailing excursion, or tour a mansion- you’ll find plenty of sights to see. If you want a little fun in the sun, don’t miss Easton’s Beach, which features a fun carnival atmosphere with a carousel and snack bar! For the full Newport experience, stay in of the many romantic bed and breakfast inns where you can chat with the owners and get some handy tips on how to make the most of your small-town Newport visit.
